T he family tradition which counts over half a century continues Maria Tsichlaki. At difficult times, where the industry is in crisis we continue to persist. The bases for the company entered the 1950 when her father, Emmanuel Tsichlakis, began to manufacture handmade stereotyped shoes. Five years later and having always next to him, his wife Evangelia, extended professional activities and the initially small family business was crafts and began her first exports to Egypt. From 1985 the company made its entry Maria, the first of the two daughters.
Today the firm employed 17 people, three of which belong to the family Tsichlaki, Maria and her sons Nikos and Manos Perimenis. The first one is located at the factory by the age of 18 years and is responsible sales. The second is responsible for production. Both of them visit international reports footwear and updated for the fashion trends. The production is 300 pairs per day. Most of these raw materials are imported from Italy and the other from selected Greek factories. The shoes are available in Greek shops and at selected shops of external, Cyprus, Lebanon, Spain, USA and Italy.
The factory operates in facilities owned by 2010 and it is equipped with the most modern machinery which gives the opportunity to increase the volume of production, to improve the quality and reduce delivery time of orders. Modernization began in 1998 and continuing until today, which certifies the important work but also the high cost of this investment. "The industry is in crisis, says Maria Tsichlaki, but we resist ok difficult times we support the Greek market and invest. We are from the few who insist and we hope to justify the love, passion and hope not only our own but also of our parents'.
